Zuhura is currently a MA candidate in Heritage Management at the University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania also a former Chairperson of the Dar es Salaam University Heritage and Archeology student Association (DUHASA). She is also a co-founder of various heritage organizations like; Museum Hub, Tanzania Heritage Management (TAHEMA), and Tanzania Heritage pro-Development Organization (TAHEDO), dealing with protecting, co-creating research with the community, managing heritage resources and raising awareness among the locals about the essential and sustainable use of the heritage resources.
